Materials & Performance
Engineered for the demands of professional food service from blast-freezing to oven regeneration up to +121\u00b0C and everything in between.
Built for the full lifecycle
The TorusPak Tray 5110 is manufactured from 96% food-grade PP copolymer combined with a 4% carbon-free black masterbatch. This material combination delivers the mechanical strength, temperature resistance, and food safety compliance required for professional cook-chill and cook-freeze operations.
Rated from −40°C to +121°C, the tray is designed to move seamlessly through every stage of the HACCP workflow from production kitchen to point of service without repacking or transferring.
The carbon-free black masterbatch is a deliberate choice: unlike traditional carbon black pigments, it allows the tray to be detected by NIR sorting systems used in recycling facilities, supporting end-of-life material recovery.

Key material properties
Every material choice is driven by operational performance and food safety requirements.
Temperature range
Rated from −40°C to +121°C, supporting blast-freeze, chilled storage, and regeneration up to +121°C.
Freeze-safe
PP copolymer maintains structural integrity and flexibility at temperatures down to −40°C without cracking or warping.
Food-grade certified
Manufactured under FSSC 22000 and compliant with EU food contact regulations. Suitable for HACCP-controlled environments.
Multi-method regeneration
Compatible with microwave, thermo oven, and steamer regeneration methods without deformation or chemical migration.
Carbon-free black
Uses a 4% carbon-free black masterbatch that enables NIR sorting for recycling, unlike traditional carbon black pigments.
Moisture & grease resistant
PP copolymer naturally resists moisture and grease, maintaining seal integrity and tray performance across diverse menu items.
